Sage have listened to their customers with Sage 2012 introducing some fantastic usability features:-

Lock Date

On the Sage wish list for several years comes the ability to lock the posting date so late invoices don’t get posted after monthly management accounts have been created

Quick Search

A feature enabled to perform quicker searches for the information you need

Quick Print

Quick email was introduced in 2011. Now comes the introduction of Quick Print providing quicker printing of invoices and orders without having constantly select the layout templates

Refreshed Interface

It looks and feels new. It is clearer with important areas and titles highlighted

Performance and Maintenance

Sage have invested more time than ever to increase the actual and perceived performance of the software

General Performance

Increased speed of data transfer across the network and between server and client

Swap, Search, Sort

Reduced time to perform previous bottleneck actions, such as Swap, Search or Sort on lists of records or transactions

Transaction Activity

Speed increases when opening a records activity or run activity reports, another previous bottleneck for users

Reports and Layouts

Increase in performance when running reports and layouts for multiple user

Accessibility Improvements

Sage Accounts 2012 now embraces Sage Accounts Mobile which includes not only the ability to “Read” Sage data but also to “Write” to it, while on the move
