We’ve had the pleasure of working with Home Instead Milton Keynes for several years. A dedicated team committed to delivering compassionate care to vulnerable adults in the comfort of their homes.
Problem
The onboarding process had to be managed remotely due to the COVID-19 lockdown, requiring effective remote technology solutions. The organisation needed enhanced cyber security due to the sensitive nature of personal data handled in caring for vulnerable adults. Their aging server infrastructure also required an upgrade to support remote work and collaboration.
Solution
From the outset we knew that it would be the responsiveness of our support that would be paramount, along with our technical skills and knowledge. We make it our business to get to know every business, and the industry in which they operate. In Home Instead’s case, we knew that cyber security would be of high importance as they manage a large amount of personal data.
We transitioned Home Instead to a Microsoft 365 Cloud solution, removing the need for a costly infrastructure upgrade to replace their aging server. Introducing new remote working and collaboration tools helped support their care staff when out in the field or working from home.
We also switched to a Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) telephony system. This has further reduced operational costs whilst delivering even greater remote working capabilities.
