THE SOLUTION
A Full MyCloud service with Sage 50 Accounts hosting was recommended and implemented allowing BlueMoon Solutions to host the organisations Sage 50 Accounts with accessibility from any of their locations.
BlueMoon Solutions was also able to provide expert Sage 50 Accounts consultancy on how best to use the software with the organisations requirements as a charity differing from a standard business.
An initial meeting was set up to assess the actual requirements and more importantly the stress points of getting Sage 50 Accounts working for the customer.
The major stress point was that the customer had multiple locations with the main site used to host the Sage package via a Terminal server. However, the main site had the lowest internet bandwidth available meaning that access to Sage was slow and practically un-useable. The customer risked corrupting their data with the poor accessibility.
Additionally the way the organisation operated as a Charity meant that the standard way of using Sage and its modules was different to the way a standard business did. Sage was the right solution but the organisation just needed to know how to use it in a way that suited their requirements and if possible flex the solution to meet their requirements.
